Driving Under Suspension

Driving with a suspended licence is considered a very serious offence, under the Highway Traffic Act. If convicted, penalties include:

  • A minimum fine of $1,000.00 for the first offence
  • Additional 6-month suspension of driver’s license
  • Possible imprisonment
