Driving Under Suspension
Driving with a suspended licence is considered a very serious offence, under the Highway Traffic Act. If convicted, penalties include:
  • A fine of up to $5,000
  • Additional 6-month suspension of driver’s licence
  • Possible imprisonment up to 6 months
